Distribution of FMGE Dec 2019 Pass Certificate deferred due to Coronavirus spread; NBE issues notice

New Delhi: Due to coronavirus cases emerging from various cities across the country rapidly, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has postponed the schedule of "in-person" verification of credentials and finger biometrics to a future date.

As per the earlier notification, the FMGE Pass certificates were to be issued 11th March 2020 onwards to candidates who have qualified FMGE Dec 2019 session IN-PERSON only. However, due to recent development of an increase in incidences of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases in Delhi and also across some cities in the country, it has been decided to defer the schedule of "in-person" verification of credentials and finger biometrics to a future date which shall be announced later, the NBE notice read.

The notice further adds, "Considering that the qualified candidates have to continue further endeavors in their career such as to undertake internship in India, it has been decided to issue the PASS certificates online which can be downloaded from NBE website www.natboard.edu.in from 12th March 2020 onwards by qualified candidates using credentials to be sent by NBE at their registered email ID."

The Pass certificates shall be purely provisional subject to verification of biometrics of candidates and required documents "in-person" as detailed in NBE web notice dated 24-02-2020. Schedule for the same will be announced in due course, the NBE stated further.
