3rd year MBBS student from Andhra Pradesh Medical College commits suicide

As the MBBS student did not come out of his room in the evening, his colleagues went there and found him hanging to the ceiling fan.

Eluru: A third-year MBBS student committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan in his hostel room of a private medical college recently. The reasons for suicide are unknown.

According to the Police officials, the 20-year-old deceased student belonged Jaggaiahpet town in Krishna district and was studying final year MBBS at Alluri Sitaramaraju Academy of Medical Sciences (ASRAM). He was staying in the medical college hostel located at the outskirts.

As the MBBS student did not come out of his room in the evening, his colleagues went there and found him hanging to the ceiling fan. They immediately brought him down and admitted to the ASRAM hospital, where the duty doctors declared him brought dead.
