Coronavirus lockdown: WBUHS closed till 14th April

West Bengal: Through a recent notice, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has informed about its closure  considering the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and its subsequent lockdown imposed by the Centre.

The notice clearly notices all the concerned that the Office of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences shall remain closed until the 14th of April, 2020, to adopt social distancing and to take isolation measures to stop the spread of COVID 19.

This notification has been issued as per the direction of the higher authorities of the University.

From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Post-doctoral courses including the Ph. D programme in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
