    Preparing for NEET 2019?- Check out the NEET 2019 Exam Pattern.


    The entrance examination, NEET is the largest entrance examination for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. Certainly, the competition level among the medical aspirants is extremely high, hence, the preparation for the examination should too.


    As stated by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the examination conducting body for NEET UG 2019, NEET 2019 will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.


    In order to secure a medical seat, the candidates must take NEET and for the preparation of the exam, they should be well through with the NEET 2019 Exam Pattern.


    (a) Below is the NEET 2019 Exam Pattern

    * Each question carries 4 marks.




    • For each correct response, the candidate will get 4 marks.

    • For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted for the total score.


    (b) The duration of the test would be three (03) hours.


    (c) Medium of the Question Papers:-


    i. Candidates can opt for Question Paper in anyone of the following languages:





















    English Hindi Bengali Gujarati Kannada
    Marathi Odia Tamil Urdu NA


    ii. Option of the medium of Question Paper should be carefully exercised while filling in the Application Form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.


    iii. Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only.


    iv. Candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.


    v. Candidates opting for Regional languages would also be provided Bilingual Test Booklet in selected Regional language and English.


    vi. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.

    (d) Candidates qualifying NEET (UG) – 2019 would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium of the examination, subject to other eligibility criteria.

    1. The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

    2. Submission of Online Application Form may be done by accessing NTA website nta.ac.in / www.ntaneet.nic.in only.

    3. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on NTA Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified.

    4. Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the e-mail address or SMS on given Mobile Number
