JIPMER releases results for 2nd MBBS Exams November, December 2019
Puducherry: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has released the Second MBBS Examination November/December 2019 Result (Puducherry & Karaikal Campus).
The results are attached below:
Earlier, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) informed regarding the attendance of MBBS students during their clinical Postings.

All the Departments are directed to forward the respective posting attendance to the Department of Medicine (except Anaesthesiology, where they would provide it to the Department of Surgery) both as a hard copy and a soft copy in an Excel sheet. The same needs to be informed to the students concerned.
The notice has been accordingly forwarded to HoDs of Psychiatry, Radio-Diagnosis, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine, Anaesthesiology, General Medicine and General Surgery.
The medical institute had intimated that posting of MBBS students in the Department of Radio-diagnosis is in the sixth and seventh semester in accordance with the MCI GME guidelines. However, previous it was in 4th and 5th Semester only. Previously the posting was a period of one week and due to tight schedule, the current duration is less than a week.
Further, JIPMER had informed regarding the Attendance of MBBS students in Modular Teaching classes. The notice stated that the attendance of the MBBS students during particular Modular teaching classes shall be taken into account in their main and overall attendance by the Main Coordinating Department concerned (i.e., the one which takes the pre-test and post-test).

The attendance of the Modular Teaching classes should not be treated separately but instead included in the overall attendance for that particular batch irrespective of their semesters.
The Modular Teaching Classes organized by the different Specialities/Departments may forward the attendance to their Main Coordinating Department immediately under intimation to the students.
