Udaipur: A case of brutal ragging has surfaced from the government-run Rabindra Nath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur. The culprits have been now arrested following the complaint from juniors

Four senior year nursing students allegedly forced three freshers to strip, drink liquor, dance and imitate a rooster. The ragging allegedly continued for five hours.

The incident happened on 11th February. The victims are the first year students at the nursing college attached to RNT Medical College.

Informing about the incident, a police officer told TOI, "We got a complaint from a first-year student who hails from Jodhpur. The complainant said that on Monday he was sitting with his three friends in Bhupalpura area when a second-year student came and asked all the juniors to assemble at his batchmate's rented room nearby. When the students went there, the seniors were drinking. There were alcohol bottles in the room and the victims were forced to drink and later asked to take off their clothes."

The seniors allegedly forced them to make dirty moves while dancing and were hit on their back. When the juniors refused, the accused threatened to thrash them. The ragging continued for some five hours and the boys were allowed to leave the room past midnight.

Following the horrific incident, one of the students approached the police and registered a complaint against the seniors.
