Workload PLUS Personal Stress: 2nd year PG ENT goes missing from Gandhi Medical College

Bhopal: A 2^nd year ENT post graduate from Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Dr Sisodiya,(28), who was reported missing under mysterious circumstance 10 days ago was finally contacted by a media outlet on Sunday.

The TOI reporter who spoke to him stated that the doctor had told him that he went missing due to stress and workload. Without revealing his location to the media the doctor said that he had travelled from Gujarat to several parts of the country, in the last 10 days. The doctor who did the disappearing act went missing after telling his colleagues that he was going away for lunch. A case of missing person was registered at Koh-e-Fiza police station. Despite attempts made by the police to trace him, the doctor remained untraceable

The doctor allegedly went missing after a fight with his girlfriend on Sunday. The lady who approached the police alleged that on 31^st May the two of them had a fight after which the doctor left stating he was going for lunch, but he was no longer to be seen. In fact, she reported that his two-wheeler went missing too.

“I have contacted his family and relatives but none of them have any idea about his whereabouts. I fear something might have happened with him, she told police. He had never left home without informing me or his friends. None of his friends are aware about his location. I fear he might have been abducted,” she told TOI.

The doctor's vehicle was later recovered from the railway station’s parking. His parents who live in Ashoknagar near Vidisha are still unaware of the missing report lodged. Investigation officer Narsingh Rajput said, “His mobile phone’s last location was in Bhopal on the day he went missing, however, his mobile was later switched off and is still untraceable.”

“It is suspected that he might have gone boarded a train and have gone somewhere. We are trying to trace him,” he added.

Confirming his well being to TOI, the doctor revealed that he was OK and would return to Bhopal soon. “I left Bhopal to de-stress and freshen myself. In the last 10 days, starting from Gujarat, I visited different states. Now I am fine and will return to Bhopal this week.”
