West Bengal: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has released Schedule of Diploma in Family Medicine December 2019 Examination.

the examination centre after half an hour from the commencement of the examination.


The results of the entrance examination for Fellowship and M Phil in Regenerative Medicine and Translational Sciences have been prepared. The following candidates will be required to appear at the counselling cum verification of the documents session at the University premises at 11-00 a,m. on 12th December, 2019 for allotment of seats. For counselling, the candidates are instructed to deposit a counselling fee of Rs. 3000/- (Rs. Three thousand only) by a demand draft drawn in favour of “The West Bengal University of Health Sciences” payable at Kolkata. The candidates are instructed to bring in original and a self-attested photocopy of those documents as listed below:


1. Admit Card of Respective Admission Tests - 2019.


2. Mark Sheet (s) of qualifying examinations & Provisional / Final passing Certificate.


3. Proof. of Age, e.g. Admit Card or Certificate of Madhyamik‟ or equivalent examination.


4. SC/ST/PC/OBC Certificate from the competent authorities whichever is applicable.


5. Any other relevant documents


Diploma in Family Medicine provides education to doctors on continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body; family physicians are often primary care physicians. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion.

According to the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), the aim of family medicine is to provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care for the individual in the context of the family and the community.The issues of values underlying this practice are usually known as primary care ethics.
