UP:NEET counselling cases taken up by the High Court
The denial for counselling in their case came due to mistakes in their caste and domicile certifications.
Hearing the petitions filed by the candidates, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale and Justice Yashwant Varma asked the state counsel for a reason for the difficulties faced by them in having these candidates come in for a second round of counselling with proper documentation.
The court taking a sympathetic stand fixed an early hearing for these cases, in order to save the candidate's future being affected due to technical drawbacks.
The state justifying its stand on the issue clarified that all information had been given in the brochure, uploaded on the website on August 20.
