Unfortunate: PG medical student at a private medical college found dead in Puducherry

Puducherry: In yet another unfortunate incident, A 28-year old post-graduate medical student of a private college near here was today found dead in his rented house, police said.


Parivendan, a third-year student who was enrolled at Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College was found lying unconscious in his bed in the house. The police, alerted by neighbours, rushed him to the medical college hospital, where doctors said he had already died.


The cause of the death was under investigation, police said.


The medico belonged to Tiruchengode in Namakkal district of neighbouring Tamil Nadu. The police have sent the body for a postmortem and registered a case.
