Unfortunate: Medical Student at Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences leaps to death

Kirhi K (23) a final year student of Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) leapt to death from the fourth floor of the college building here, on Wednesday.


Kirthi who hailed from Kannur in Kerala is said to have been depressed over her performance in the previous exam.


Her parents who had come over to her college to meet her, on Tuesday, had discussed her academic performance and also mentioned marriage to her.


Dr Subhash Chimkode Director, Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences told the Indian Express that the college had lodged a complaint with the police and an investigation into her death is being conducted.
