UK epidemiologist to deliver lecture on Climate Change and Health in Jipmer
Puducherry: Sir Andrew P. Haines, a noted epidemiologist and distinguished scientist in the UK, is visiting India at the invitation of the Indian Academy of Sciences and is scheduled to deliver a lecture in JIPMER here on March 18.
According to a Jipmer release on Friday, during his visit to Jipmer, he will be delivering a lecture on “Climate change and health: The health co-benefits of the low carbon economy”, organized by the JIPMER Scientific Society (JSS).
