Two new courses started at Gitam

Visakhapatnam: Directly Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS) and Designated Microscopy Centre (DMC) are the two new courses that have been started by GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences. The District Medical and Health Officer, J. Sarojini, who inaugurated them, appreciating the effort said that the courses would help the poor in the long run.


Principal, SP Rao said that the rural poor living in the coastal areas were bound to benefit from this new diagnosis facility.


A doctor sensitisation workshop was also arranged on the occasion.
