Tripura to offer Super 30 for MBBS, IIT aspirants from next year

Agartala: The council of ministers recently approved a new scheme - Super 30 for the MBBS and engineering aspirants of Tripura Board of Secondary Education from next academic year.


Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said the state government aimed to facilitate the students of Tripura after completion of Higher Secondary to crack national level entrances and get chance to study in medical and engineering streams.


Nath said, “Thirty top scorer of TBSE conducted Madhyamik examinations who take admission in Class-XI with Science stream will get the benefit of Super-30 every year.

The scheme will come into effect from the Academic Year 2020-21” and added the government will spend Rs 2.40 lakh per year for each student.
