Telangana: Medical PG admissions for Competent Authority Quota seats .

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana has notified the admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree/ Diploma Courses for the Academic Year, 2018-19 in Telangana for determining State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota seats. Total number of seats available under competent authority quota for the academic year 2018-19 will be notified later. Fee structure will be as fixed by the Government. NEET PG 2018 qualified persons, can apply for the Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma courses offered in colleges affiliated to KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal and NIZAM's Institute of Medical Sciences, (NIMS) Hyderabad in Telangana.

The cut-off for General Category is 321. For SC/ST/OBC, it is 281 and for Persons with Disability (OC) PH, it is 300. The State Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET PG-2018 Score and other eligibility criteria notified.

Applicant should have qualified in NEET PG-2018 by securing marks of cut-off score or above and should have passed MBBS Degree examination from an Institution in Telangana state recognized by the Medical Council of India. Local candidates of Telangana who have passed MBBS Degree from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada ( a state wide Medical College) and Local Candidates of Telangana from Christian Medical College (CMC), Dichpall are also are also eligible to apply.

Applications can be submitted online at http://tspgmed.tsche.in. The printout of filled-in application along with enclosures in two sets should be submitted at the time of verification of original certificates as per the notified schedule and centers by KNR University of Health Sciences.

Registration Fee is Rs.3800/- for OC & BC candidates and Rs.3300/- for SC/ST candidates. It can be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net banking.

NUMBER OF SEATS UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY OUOTA:

The number of M DS seats to be available for the academic year 2018-19 will be in accordance with the orders of DCl/G01/ Govt. of Telangana/ KNR UHS.:

The seats for the year 2018-19 will be displayed in the University website before counseling.

In case any new Seats in MDS Courses are permitted by Government of India in colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for the academic year 2018-19,
those seats also will be filled up. NO FURTHER NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.

ELIGIBILITY:

THE CANDIDATES WHO FULFILLED THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION INTO MDS COURSES. THEY HAVE TO APPLY ON-LINE AND GET THEIR CERTIFICATES VERIFIED AT THE CENTRES AS PER THE SCHEDULE NOTIFIED BY THE UNIVERSITY.

The candidates should secure the following revised cut off scores or above in NEET MDS 2018 session (as per Notice dated 24-03-
2018), conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

The Candidate shall be an Indian National / Person of Indian origin (PIO) / Citizen of Indian origin card holder. Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Local area as provided in the Telangana Educational Institutions ( Regulation of admission ) order 1974 as amended from time to time. and as per G.O.Ms.No. 23 HM&FW (C1) Dept. Dated: 27-03-2018 and subsequent amendments only are eligible to appear for PG Dental admissions.

CANDIDATES WHO STUDIED BDS IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND IN OU AREA QUOTA OF GOVERNMENT DENTAL COLLEGE, HYDERABAD, GOVERNMENT DENTAL COLLEGE, VIJAYAWADA AND ARMY DENTAL COLLEGE, SECBAD AND OBTAINED DEGREE.

BDS Degree should be recognized by the Dental Council of India.

BDS Graduates pursuing internship should have completed internship on or before 31st March 2018.

Must have registered with State Dental Council and subject to the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated in Regulations and its documentary proof should be furnished / enclosed to the application.

Candidates who are already studying P.G. MDS Degree course shall not be permitted to appear for counseling for verification of Original certificates for web based counseling unless they discontinue the course by remitting requisite bond amount and stipend drawn up to that date before submitting the application form. Such candidates shall have to submit a certificate issued by the Head of the Institution to that effect along with the application form.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University.

APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE:

The on-line application form for determining merit position in respective categories for Competent authority quota seats using NEET MDS — 2018 scores will be available on the website
hhttp://tsmds.tsche.in from 10.00 A.M on 28-03-2018 to 01-04-2018 up to 5.00 p.m.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application form from the website http://knruhs.in/ or http://tsmds.tsche.infrom before proceeding to fill the application form.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafO/net center). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) (step-1) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo and signature after the payment of application fee through Online.

HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATION:

After Online payment of application fee, the following screen will be displayed. The screen will ask for Application No as USER ID and Date of Birth (DD/ MM /YYYY) as password (Example: 02/10/1984) to proceed for the application submission. The USER ID and) also shared through E-Mail and SMS after successful registration.

The candidate should paste a recent passport size photograph in the space provided in the print out of online application form and submit at the certificates verification.

Registration fee :

The registration fee is Rs.3800/-(Bank transaction charges extra) for OC,BC categories and Rs.3300/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC,ST categories.

The candidate should enclose the attested copies of required Certificates to the Printout of the online application form in support of his/her claim.

Registration fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The candidate
should sign at the declaration
area in the print out of the online application form.

ADMISSION RULES:

The letter of selection of admission for selected candidates has to be downloaded from the website.

All candidates selected to MDS courses should execute the bond in the form prescribed in Annexure II on non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) to ensure completion of the prescribed period of training and in default to pay Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only) together with the entire amount received as stipend upto that date In addition to this bond amount.

The candidates who discontinue the course after issue of notification for final round of counseling or later will have to pay discontinuation fee of Rs. 5 Lakhs. They will be debarred from participating in counselings for admission to MDS for a period of three (3) years under KNR UHS.

The certificates shall not be returned to the candidates until they complete their course.

COUNSELING:

The notification for schedule of verification of original certificates of the candidates who have applied through online and for exercising web options will be issued separately on K N RU HS website.

Certificate verification will be done only once for web based counseling irrespective of number of rounds of web based options. Hence, candidates who have applied on-line are advised to attend verification of certificates at the notified centres on specified dates without fail.

The Selection Committee shall have power to review the selection in case of any errors, misrepresentation or glaring injustice and cancel the selection/admission. In all matters relating to selection and admissions, the decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding on the Candidates and selections cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.

COMMENCEMENT OF THE COURSE:

The course shall commence as per the scheduled notified. The duration of the course shall be calculated from the date of commencement of the course and shall be uniform for all the candidates irrespective of individual dates of admission.

CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS:

The admissions shall be closed as per the time schedule given by the DCI.

Any vacancy on the day of closure of admissions or that arises after closure of admissions shall not be filled.

RESERVATIONS:

15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC-D-7% and BC-E-4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.

Candidates claiming reservations under SC/ST/BC categories shall submit a permanent social status certificate as specified in the application form issued by competent authority of Government of Telangana. The social status of SC/ST/BC candidates shall be subject to the scrutiny as per G.O.Ms.No.58 SW (J) Dept. Dt 12-5-97.

33 1/3 % and 3% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree Courses shall be reserved for women and differently abled.

Candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations.

Note:- The regulations of Dental Council of India shall be observed in making admissions of differently abled (Physically Handicapped) candidates, according to which the differently abled candidates with locomotary disorder of lower limbs between 50% to 70% will be considered first and if any seats are remaining unfilled, Candidates with 40% to 50% will be considered.

The candidate seeking the benefit of reservation should apply under PH Category.

The Medical Board constituted by the University as per Government Regulations. will assess the percentage of disability as per G.O. MS. No.31 Women development, Child welfare & disabled welfare (DW) department dated 01-12-2009. Candidates claiming reservation under PH quota should present before the Medical

Board for confirmation of eligibility and the decision of Medical Board specially constituted for the purpose is final and binding on the candidates.
