Telangana Govt sanctions 1099 posts in Medical GMCs, GGHs

Telangana: The Telangana Government has sanctioned 1099 posts in certain Government Medical Colleges / Government General Hospitals of the state to control seasonal diseases and meet increasing workload.


These posts have been sanctioned on the advise of the HM&FW Department and are to remain under the administrative control of Director, Medical Education.


The order dated 08-05-2017 released by Secretary, Govt of Telangana, N. SIVA SANKAR


The creation of posts will see 299 including 14 Associate and 28 Assistant Professor positions filled in Osmania General Hospital and Medical College alone.While 252 posts in Kakatiya Medical College and Mahatma Gandhi Medical Hospital in Warangal, 189 posts in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad and 190 posts in Government Medical College and Hospital, Nizamabad will have faculty joining.
