Results for NEET I and II Declared

The NEET I & II results for the year 2016 have been declared. Het Shah has bagged first position with 685 marks out of 720, while Ekansh Goel and Nikhil Bajiya have secured rank 2 and 3, respectively. The second topper, Ekansh has secured 682 marks, while Nikhil follows at the third position with a score of 678, in NEET 2016 results.

At All India Rank 5, Arushi has emerged as the topper among female candidates with 676 marks. Dyuti Shah and Japnoor Kaur secured the 6
th
and 7th rank , respectively. Among the top 10 rankers of NEET 2016 (I & II), 3 are females, while 7 are male candidates. Following are the details about top 10 rankers of NEET 2016

According to the CBSE out of the total 7,31,223 appeared candidates, as many as 4,09,477 have qualified for admissions to Under Graduate medical programmes across medical colleges of India. NEET-1 was conducted across 1040 centres in 52 cities in India and abroad, while NEET-2 was conducted at 739 centres in 56 cities in India.

NEET 2016 Counselling The counselling of NEET 2016 is schedule to be conducted in two rounds beginning from August 22, 2016 by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has constituted a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for allotment 15% All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats through centralized NEET counselling 2016. The counselling will be conducted in online mode. Only those candidates can participate in AIPMT/NEET counselling 2016 who will be declared qualified/eligible by examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for 15% All India Quota Undergraduate MBBS/BDS seats. Candidates have to register themselves to the NEET 2016 counselling portal in order to exercise their choices for MBBS and BDS programmes and colleges.
