Ajmer: The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical (JLN) College’s Melody Hall and Seminar Room will be available to the public and organizations for rent in an attempt to generate money for medical facilities. The dialysis facility is also likely to be made available through PPP (Public Private Partnership) mode with the efforts of the Medical Relief Society.

The two halls were constructed to conduct seminars and for the entertainment purposes of medical students. The rentals for Melody and Seminar Hall will be Rs 11,000 and Rs 5000 respectively, for a day.

"These rooms will be available for rent for public or organizations and we are framing rules for such," said an official of the society.

Hanuman Sahai Meena, Divisional Commissioner, who presided over the meeting said that a total of 10 dialysis facilities will soon be available in the hospital on PPP mode and the hospital administration has worked out the required arrangements for it. Officials also recommended more facilities for the hospital.

The society has proposed construction of cottages in the Government Janana Hospital and the opening of a bank branch on the premises. It has also called for cleanliness in the hospital.
