Rajasthan: Medical College prescribes Rs 3000 blazer as dress code for medicos, Health Ministry sees Red
All the medical staff and doctors at the medical college and its attached hospitals will now have to wear blue blazers worth Rs 3000 of the brand "Raymond".
Jaipur: Resident doctors, medical staff and undergraduate students attached to the Jaipur-based Sawai Man Singh Medical College (SMS Medical College) will now be required to follow a blue dress code, including donning blazers worth Rs 3000 of the same colour.
The medical institute implemented the dress code on 16th January. The code is also applicable to those serving in the hospitals attached to the medical college. However, the state Health Minister has said that there was no need for taking this measure.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that there was no need for taking such measures and the matter is under consideration. "There was no use of taking such a decision, it is a local matter. I have already talked about it and the decision is of no use," Sharma stated.
