Punjab: A recent complaint filed by Narinder Bansal (the complaint) has led to a probable arrest of two persons in a case of duping a person for admissions (of his two sons) in a medical college in MP.

Police is reported to have booked these two persons for duping a Rampura Phul in lieu of an admission at RD Gardi medical college in Ujjain, MP. Tribune reported that in his complaint, Narinder Bansal stated that the accused Gurpreet Singh of Namdev Nagar and Rajneesh Kumar of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Bathinda, assured admission for his two children in MBBS course in lieu of Rs 10 lakh.

However, no further action has yet been taken by the police yet. No arrest has been made so far. The accused has been booked and a detailed enquiry into the matter is now pending, to be conducted by senior police officials.

The two people alleged in this case duped the father (of two sons) with a false promise of admission of both his sons in the said medical college. The amount was hefty, leading the father to pay a total sum of Rs 10 lakh. It is reported that they exchanged hands for money at Sai Institute, situated on Namdev Road in Bathinda.

Investigating Officer (IO) Nirmal Singh said a case was registered against the duo at the Civil Lines police station under Section 420 of the IPC.
