Punjab: Online All India quota admissions open to Punjab students

Faridkot: The online website of the Health Ministry is open to students applying under the 15% All India quota for the MBBS and BDS seats besides the 85% state quota category, for which counselling commences on Monday.


The medical counselling committee has released the all-India schedule on its official website


The state category counselling schedule has been released by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), responsible for conducting the combined counselling of all colleges, including private and minority institutions in Punjab.


Dr Raj Bahadur, BFUHS, Vice Chancellor said domicile preference will be given to students . However, If a Haryana student has done his class 12 from Punjab, he will be entitled to admission in the state


1,125 MBBS seats in 8 medical colleges and 1,130 BDS seats in 14 dental colleges in the state are being competed for this year.


NEET results were announced by the Central Board of secondary Examinations on June, for admission to Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses, reports HT


Aspirant applications are to be submitted through the university’s website,
