Punjab Institute of Medical Science student emerges a topper in the varsity exam

Jalandhar: Result of the second batch of MBBS students of Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences,2014 affiliated to the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences(BFUHS) has been declared. Principal of the PIMS,Dr Kulbir Kaur, congratulated the students.


First five positions out of overall 20 university toppers and two distinctions in Microbiology have been bagged by the Punjab Institute of Medical Science students.


Following is the list of distinction holders:


Simrat Kaur Bath- bagged the first position in the college


Ramandeep Kaur – earned the second position


Aakriti Mahajan- stood third in rank


Ashita Mittal, a student of the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, 2011 batch, scored 103rd rank in the all-India rank in NEET PG exam and also earned the 4th rank in Punjab.


Puneet Malhan has earned the 18th rank in Punjab, reports The Tribune.
