Punjab: Indraprastha University draws thousands of MBBS aspirants

Punjab: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has drawn attention from many medical aspirants for the entrance exam held recently. It is reported that thousand of MBBS aspirants made an appearance for the entrance exam held by the institute.


There are three medical colleges affiliated to the university which offers 264 MBBS seats. Army Medical College, Delhi is one of the affiliated colleges to the university.


However, the city-based physics expert Kunal Singh in his statement implied that this year there was lesser number of students if we compare to the total number of students who appeared last year for the entrance exam.


Tribune reported that students said the exam helped them check their readiness for the AIPMT exam scheduled to be held on May 1.


On this year’s question paper there was a mixed reaction from students, with students finding the chemistry section east, physics lengthy and calculative followed by some easy questions. One question was declared void by the authorities during the examination.
