The boy will remain suspended till the investigation into the incident is completed. The suspension decision has been taken in consultation with the Anti Ragging committee. The student has been identified as Bhanu Vashisht.

The incident occurred last week, when some final year students entered the first year boys hostel and asked one of the freshers to remove his clothes. The information reached the hostel warden on his phone immediately, as the new comers had been given his number for eventualities of this nature.

According to reports the officials reached the hostel before matters took an ugly turn. The final year hooligans ran away seeing the officials.

No formal complaint has been lodged by the first year students against the final year batch. The matter however, has been handed over to the Anti Ragging Committee. The college Principal DR.
