Puducherry: JIPMER holds a Diabetes interactive session

PUDUCHERRY: The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research(JIPMER) held an interactive session on “Diabetes: Treatment and Prevention’ On December 27 between 3pm and 5pm. The session that was held at the super specialty block on the institute premises, had experts educating the public on treatment and prevention of the ‘silent killer’ Diabetes.


The interactive session is the institute's initiative on health education launched by Director JIPMER, SC Parija. It is an attempt on the part of the institution to spread and improve e public awareness on health.


The National Medical College Network (NMCN) project telecast the JIPMER session live to all medical colleges in South India through the JIPMER regional resource centre.

The institute has organised 35 sessions till now.
