Puducherry: Only 1 student from Govt Schools gets MBBS admission

She is the only student from government schools to clear NEET after obtaining 279 marks. She secured a seat for the first year MBBS course in the government medical college.

Puducherry: The Thiruvalluvar Government Girls Higher secondary school recently organized a function to congratulate a student of the school who secured MBBS admission here after obtaining 279 marks in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) held recently.

Snehapriya, the daughter of a painter from Lawspet here passed plus two from the school and she is the only student from government schools to clear NEET after obtaining 279 marks.

She secured a seat for the first year MBBS course in the government medical college.

At a function today, her teachers and staffs of the school congratulated her and adorned her with a doctor’s coat and stethoscope and expressed their happiness while the students of the school distributed sweets.
