Professors, Doctors of Govt Medical college organize Dharna

Puducherry: Professors, Doctors and Nurses of the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College resorted to a one hour dharna in front of the college to draw the attention of the government to their problems.


According to the agitators, as many as 150 MBBS graduates are coming out of the college every year and there are over 100 medical professors and 750 other employees.


The service of those who are working right from the beginning of the college was not regularized yet. Further, they were demanding promotion, provision of adequate infrastructural facilities in the college and among other things.
