Over 100 delegates participate in SKIMS Medical conference

Srinagar: For the promotion of health sector, the department of endocrinology of Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) ) organised Second Medical Science Congress and first Annual Conference of Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in Srinagar.

Hundreds of delegates across the country and outside the country, including USA, UK, UAE, and Sri Lanka, participated in the conference and shared their experiences with local doctors of the Valley.

During the three days long conference, number of power point presentations and specific lectures were given by renowned scientists regarding these particular diseases. For last more than twenty five years of insurgency, the stress level is high among the people of Valley even the hair fall and obesity problems is common among males.
