Hyderabad: A 7 doctor selection from Telangana for the post of assistant professors for 200 vacancies has created tremendous agitation in the minds of the members of the Telangana Junior Doctor’s Association (TJUDA).The doctors have objected to other positions that have all been filled by nonlocals.

Dr G. Srinivas, Advisor, TJUDA told Deccan Chronicle , “There are only seven locals while all others in the various categories are non-locals. This is not right. We want the government to look into this and give priority to the locals.” Applications had been invited for 20 super specialty departments and three to four doctors have been selected for each of these departments.

TJUDA has further alleged that the maximum number selected for the interview are not from the state, denying domicile candidates an opportunity.
