Odisha:Online registration for medical aspirants begins

Bhubaneshwar: MBBS and BDS online registration for admissions in the state began on Monday. Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), Chairman, Tushar Nath announced that state students who have qualified for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), can register online on www.ojee.nic.in for the 85% state quota seats by August 25.


According to Nath medical aspirants could also refer to the same OJEE website for Fee schedule for counseling, documentation and seat matrix. And other issues.


Following is the schedule for various admission processes:


Documents Verification: August 26 & August 29


Locking of choices: August 30 and August 31


Seat Allotment: September 2


Provisional Admission: September 3 to 6.


The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counselling for admissions will be carried out for the following colleges and seats:


Government SCB Medical College, Cuttack; Seats-250


MKCG Medical College and Hospital; Seats - 250


Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research; Seats-150


SCB Dental College; Seats- 50


Private Colleges:


Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar; Seats-100


Hi-Tech Dental College; Seats-100


Though the OJEE is yet to include 100 MBBS seats of Hi-Tech Medical College, Rourkela in its seat-matrix, sources said the same is likely to follow as the Lodha committee appointed by the Supreme Court has recommended admission in 100 MBBS seats in this College.
