Odisha: Koraput Medical College inspected by MCI team

Koraput: Sahid Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (SLNMCH) had a three member team of the Medical Council of India MCI visit it for a detailed inspection to see if infrastructure requirement to admit the first batch of students for the year 2017-18 is fulfilled.


The MCI team members - B C Dutta from Assam, Ravi Rathore from Karnataka and S S Singh from Rajasthan besides holding discussions with the Superintendent and Dean of the college, also checked the compulsory infra structure required for granting approval.


The team ascertained whether the administrative buildings, laboratory, specialty clinics, hospital complex, library, classrooms, out-patient department, intensive care units, in-patient department, and boys and girls hostel buildings were sufficient for holding Ist year classes of 100 students reports the TOI.
