NIRF Medical Colleges Ranking OUT: AIIMS on TOP; SGPGI New Entry
New Delhi: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for medical colleges are out.
While, the premier healthcare facility of the country, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi got rank number 1 institute with a score of 87.52. AIIMS was adjudged as the number 1 institute last year as well. Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI Chandigarh) bagged the second position with 77.88 score in its hand and Christian Medical College got the third rank with 70.32.
Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (SGPGI), which had applied for the first time, bagged the fourth rank with 64.16 as its score by the ministry.
King George’s Medical University (KGMU) position declined from fifth from last year to 10th this year with 58.53. Last year KGMU had got the score of 61.73.
Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) which was the most preferred choice for NEET PG toppers this year; has bagged the 14th position.
