New Delhi: Wolters Kluwer becomes knowledge partner of AIIMS PULSE 2016

New Delhi: Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information and point-of-care solutions for the healthcare industry has become the official knowledge partner of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) - PULSE 2016.



It is the largest socio-cultural, literary and sports festival of medical fraternity in South-East Asia and offers platform to more than 25,000 medical students every year.

As the knowledge partner, Wolters Kluwer will encourage the habit of continuous learning by conducting regular interactive sessions with medical students. It will also showcase innovative tools and solutions that enable students to stay competent and updated in their profession.


It's a year-long partnership between AIIMS students' union and Wolters Kluwer wherein the emphasis will be on laying the foundation for following evidence based practice towards becoming better doctors and instilling inclination towards research work.


Commenting on the partnership, Mr Shireesh Sahai, CEO, Wolters Kluwer India, said, "This collaboration between Wolters Kluwer and AIIMS empowers medical students with tools to explore the latest research and developments in the medical field and guide them towards taking smarter decisions in clinical practice and offer better care." The latest know-how not just helps in effective patient care but also in preventing clinical errors.

"Given the continuous development and latest advancements in medical studies, there is a need for doctors and medical students to maintain a cycle of continuous learning. The idea behind the year-long alliance is to help them make professional decisions with confidence by providing premium content and integrated solutions," added Mr Sahai.

Highlighting the importance of the partnership, Shivam Bansal, Literary Secretary, AIIMS Students' Union 2016-17, said, "Continuous professional development is indispensable in our field as the volume of medical information constantly increases. We are confident that the year-long partnership will add value to our careers and would like to continue with it in the coming years."
