Following are the rules to be followed by NEET medical entrants appearing for this All India Medical Entrance Test :

Men:

  • All the male students, if found wearing kurta-pyjama or shoes, will not be allowed to enter the exam centre

  • Only candidates with light-coloured jeans, trousers and half-sleeved shirts, with sandals or slippers, will be allowed

Women:

  • All female candidates cannot wear big buttons, brooches or high-heeled shoes

Items that cannot be taken inside the examination Hall:

  • Aspirants are not allowed to carry writing implements or erasers into the exam hall

"Even the Union Public Service Commission and Railway Board have adopted similar protocols for their exams," said Sanyam Bhardwaj, Director, NEET.

Over 11 lakh candidates will be appearing for NEET 2017. "All the clocks at exam centres will be synced with the CBSE website's time. Though the aspirants cannot carry watches into the halls, they need to follow the CBSE timings," added Bhardwaj in recent
TOI
report.

The Union Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD), Prakash Javadekar on24th March revealed that 23 new cities will be hosting NEET all across the country.
