NEET PG Counselling 2019: MCC issues notice regarding Free Exit

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed about the Free Exit for NEET PG candidates who participated in Round 1 Counselling.


The notice informs that the candidates who want to avail Free Exit in NEET PG Counselling 2019 need not report at the allotted institute and need not register again for Round-2 counselling session.

Those NEET PG candidates who now want to avail Free Exit in NEET PG Counselling 2019 have been informed via the recently issued notification which clearly states;




➢ The candidates who do not want to take admission on the allotted seat in Round-1, need not report at the allotted institute. However, after availing Free Exit candidates will have no claim on the allotted seat.
➢ The candidates who want to retain their allotted seat and give willingness for upgradation, should report to the allotted institute.
➢ The candidates who avail Free Exit need not register again for Round-2. They can directly fill their choices for Round-2.



FREE EXIT


In case a seat is allotted during the Round-1 candidate may join the allotted institution/college and complete the admission formalities however candidates who have exited from Round I, availing the free exit may participate again in Round-2 after logging in with their earlier Registration details. In case of Free Exit after Round-1, Candidate has to report in person for Resignation / Surrender of the allotted seat to the allotted College within the stipulated time. Failing to do so the seat will not be deemed to be surrendered.



NEET PG Counselling ROUND 2


Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 2nd round would be from one of the following groups:


Group–I: Registered candidates who participated in Round-2 but did not get any seat allotted in the 1st round.


Group-II: Registered candidates, whose 1st round of allotted seat got Cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission, who have secured seat under reserved quota, due to change of Category from reserved to Unreserved or PwD status from Yes to No, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.


Group–III: Candidates who have reported/joined at allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and submitted willingness for participating in second round upgradation as 'Yes'.


Group- IV: Candidates who exited during Round-1 availing Free Exit can log in again with their earlier Registered details.


The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had recently announced the results for the NEET PG 2019 First Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling for All India Quota seats for PG medical courses, MD/MS/MCh (6 years)/DM (6 years), for the academic year 2019-2020. Candidates who scored good ranks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG medical courses, NEET PG had participated in the online counselling process for All India quota.


The MCC has also issued the allotment letter on its website. Registered candidates can now go to the official website of MCC and log in their credentials to download the allotment letter for further process.
