NEET PG 2019: KEA issues instructions for Mop Up Counselling; Details

Karnataka: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued the Important Instructions Regarding Mop Up Round Counselling for PG medical and Dental Admissions.


Candidates, who intend to pursue PG medical (MD/MS/Diploma) courses from the state-based Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges, Institutions, Universities; can now check the list of instructions for NEET PG 2019 Mop up counselling mentioned below.


The following candidates are not eligible for Mop-up Round, in continuation of the earlier instructions;




  1. Who are admitted to any seat allotted through AIQ / Central University / Deemed University for Medical / Dental PG Courses?

  2. Admitted in Round 1 and Round 2 of KEA Counseling or allotted and cancelled in KEA.

  3. Allotted seat in Round 1 and have Exercised Choice 1 or Choice 4.

  4. Admitted to in any other State / Boards PG counselling.


NOTE:




  1. Candidates who have been allotted pre and para-clinical subjects in the medical discipline during the second round and paid fees for the seat allotted are only eligible to participate in the mop-up round for clinical seats only.



  1. Candidates who have been allotted seats but not exercised any choice and those who have not entered any options are also eligible, subject to the submission of original documents.


Instructions:


1, Offline / mop-up round counselling will be conducted at Karnataka Examinations Authority, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.




  1. The candidates have to be present personally for the counselling process; no one can represent the candidate under any circumstances. Candidates without admit card/entry pass will not be allowed into KEA premises.

  2. The only candidate will be allowed against his / her admit card/entry pass, they cannot authorize anyone

  3. Candidates who have not submitted original documents to KEA on the scheduled date before a mop-up round will not be eligible for the mop-up round. Please note that no documents will be accepted on the Day/date of offline counselling/ mop-up round for any reason.

  4. The candidates have to compulsorily pay the prescribed fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Executive Director, KEA" payable at Bangalore.
    Candidates shall bring multiple Demand
    Drafts of different denominations. Online payment or Cheques or Cash will not be accepted. Candidates will not be allowed to select the seats without the demand drafts for the required fees. Candidates are advised to visit KEA Website for seats availability / vacant seats for mop-up round allotment before participating.


(Eg: If the candidate is interested to select the available 'P' seats, then they can bring demand drafts for different denominations — i.e., Rs.1,15,500+ Rs.4,66,000/- + 2,91,000/- = 8,72,500/- .


The mop-up round may extend into late hours of the day. Candidates must come prepared; they may carry some food and medicines if required.
