NEET PG 2017: Exam Pattern and Marking scheme

NEET PG 2017 is around the corner and the aspirants are need to know the Exam pattern, syllabus and the marking scheme. The NEET PG 2017 will be held between December 5-13, 2016 in the online mode.

Apart from the information given in the above tables, below are some other crucial details the candidates need to know about the NEET PG 2017.

Qualifying Criteria of NEET PG 2017– The candidates must note that official authority has released the minimum qualifying marks for the different category candidates. It will be mandatory for the candidates to secure the prescribed percentile in respective to the category.

The marks of the candidates will be scaled and evaluated on percentile measure.


Seat Allotment – The seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the merit position secured by the candidate in the NEET PG 2017.


Reservation Policies – For state quota seats, National Board of Examination will provide the result of the candidates. The reservation policies will be implemented by the Union/ territories/institutes/University. The reservation policies of different medical institutes and authorities vary. The merit list will be prepared by theses authorities after the implication of their own rules and norms. Only the 15% All India quota counselling will be held by the Medical Council Committee.
