NEET 2019: NTA allots New Exam Centres, Candidates told to Download fresh Admit Cards

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed about the changes it has made in the allotment of NEET 2019 aspirants due to General Elections to Lok Sabha and other unavoidable reasons.


The candidates have been instructed to download their admit cards again now mentioning the new allotted centres. The NEET 2019 aspirants are also advised to report in time at the new Examination Centre for NEET 2019 Examination on 5th May 2019.


The notice uploaded on the official website of NTA clearly informs that through SMS, Email and Voice Message, the concerned candidates have already been advised to download their fresh e-Admit Card available on NTA website




Candidates are also advised to acquaint themselves with the location of the new Examination Centre allotted now so that they do not face any difficulty in reaching the newly allotted Examination Centre.



The NTA further states that similar notice is also being published in Local Newspapers of the concerned States. The respective City Coordinators have also been advised to facilitate information to these candidates through Local Newspapers and Radio.

According to some media reports, a few of the NEET aspirants had gotten text messages to redownload their admit cards which had made them confused. It was stated that they had been allotted far-off centres.


Earlier, Medical Dialogues had reported about another goof up by the NTA.

NEET 2019 is going to be conducted on 05.05.2019 (Sunday) nationwide at the all the allotted examination centres. The Examination Centre will open two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 p.m. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, the location of the centre and weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination.
