NEET 2019 Counselling Round 1: MCC releases New deadlines for Choice Filling, Choice Locking and payment

New Delhi: After postponing the choice locking facility for ALL India quota candidates for NEET 2019 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a nptice informing all the Candidates participating in Round India UG Counselling 2019 about the Registration Facility, Payment Facility and Choice Locking

The notice states

It is for the information of all candidates participating in Round-1 of All India UG Counselling 2019 that the Registration Facility will be available till 5:00 PM and the Payment Facility will be open till 7:00 PM of 26 th June 2019.

The Choice Filling option will be available till 11:00 AM of 27th June 2019. However, Choice Locking will start at 8:00 PM of 26th June, 2019. Candidates can lock their choices starting from 08:00 PM of 26th June, 19 till 11:00 AM of 27th June, 19. The choices filled and saved by the candidates will automatically get locked at 11:00 AM of 27th June, 2019

With petitions regarding the applicability of the OBC quota in NEET 2019 Counselling, pending with the Madras Hgh court, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had earlier extended the Registration, Choice Filling for Round 1, yesterday

The earlier notice had stated

It is for the information of all candidates participating in the Round-1 of Online UG Counselling 2019 that some urgent issues regarding the OBC Quota of Delhi State (for I.P University) for UG Counselling and the W.P Nos. 35853 of 2016 & 17948 of 2017 in the matter of M. Rithika - Vs- MCI & others in the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, are being looked into by the authorities which might require sometime.

Therefore, it has been decided bt the competent authority to keep the Registration and Choice Filling open till further orders. The choice Locking Facility will not be available till further communication from MCC. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in) for latest update regarding Round 1 of UG Counselling 2019.
