NBE to conduct offline counselling for Stray DNB SS seats: MCC issues notice

New Delhi: With the counselling for DM, MCh and DNB SS courses already being over by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has decided to conduct In-Person Stray Vacancy Round for vacant DNB SS Seats in Offline mode.


Via the recent notice uploaded on its official website, the MCC has informed all candidates that since the counselling for DM, MCh and DNB SS courses got over on 15th Sept. 2019, the counselling authority has reverted the vacant seats to NBE.


To avoid the wastage of seats, NBE has decided to conduct an In-person Stray Vacancy Round for vacant DNB SS seats in offline mode. Physical counselling will be conducted by NBE at Dwarka office, New Delhi strictly in terms of merit. Please contact NBE authorities or visit NBE website for any further clarification regarding In-person Stray Vacancy Round, the notice apprises the DNB candidates.


Please note that there will be no further round of counselling for vacant DM, MCh seat admitted in DM, MCh as the last date up to which candidates could be courses was 15th Sept.2019 in compliance of the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.


Also, the Refund of Security Deposit of candidates who have been Allotted and Joined DM, MCh and seats and those who have not been allotted any seat will start soon.


The concerned candidates are requested to contact NBE for further details.


This year, NBE has decided to conduct common Counseling for NEET SS (DM/MCh) and DNB (Super Specialty) courses in 2019 admission session through MCC under Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).


Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that DNB Super Speciality seats would be included in NEET DM/MCh counselling.
