Nalgonda Government Medical College's renovation work inpected by Collector Uppal

Nalgonda: Renovation tasks being carried out at Government Hospital in Nalgonda were inspected by Collector Gaurav Uppal earlier in the week . The running Medical College on these premises will continue to run for a temporary duration.


Collector Uppal along with Executive Engineer, Telangana State Medical Infrastructure Development, Aziz who surveyed the renovation work of the old block of the District Government Hospital inquired about the current progress made on the site.


Mr. Aziz instructed the engineers to be well in time with renovation targets and stressed upon the need for these renovations being in line with the requirements expressed by the medical college.


Rs. 500 crore was sanctioned by the State government on May 22 for the establishment of a new medical college at Nalgonda. The Rs. 500 crore has been given to build the infrastructure as per the norms of Medical Council of India reported Telangana Today.


Dr. Ch. N. Raj Kumari, Head, Physiology Department, Kakatiya Medical College, has been appointed Principal of the Medical College in Nalgonda. , Nearly 30 doctors have also been appointed as Assistant Professors for the Nalgonda medical colleges.
