MP: MGM Medical College visited by Medical Education Director

Indore:MGM Medical College was visited by the Director, Medical Education Department, Dr GS Patel on Sunday for preparation of a report to the court that has sought a reply to one forty nine seats being filled in place of a hundred and fifty for the MBBS course being run at the college.

"We will have to submit a reply in court to respond over the petition submitted by a student over less seats. I visited the college to prepare the response and to inspect the facilities in the college." He said.

The DME had earlier been ordered by the Supreme Court to adjust the 39 students who were taken in as excess admission at other medical colleges.

Meanwhile, following the posting of Dr Sharad Thora, as Acting Dean, MGM Medical College, Dr Hemant Jain has been given charge of Superintendent, hospital.
