MKCG Medical College student dead in road accident

Berhampur: A third year student of MKCG Medical College died in a road accident near Chamakhandi, about 20-km from here, police said.


Akhil Kumar Panigrahi(22) of Chattarapur died when his motorcyle dashed against a road divider when he was going to college to attend practical classes in the morning, said Chamakhandi inspector in-charge, P K Sagara.


Panigrahi succumbed to injuries during the treatment at the medical college hospital, he said adding his body was handed over to his parents after post mortem.
