Medical student of BJMC missing since last Saturday
Pune: A missing report has been registered with Bund Garden police as a 21-year old male medical student is missing from the BJ Medical College, Pune since 21 December 2019.
The student is identified as Sorav Budhia and originally belongs to Siliguri.
The student was last seen on a CCTV footage of the medical college, when entering the hostel on 21 December around 6:15 am. While there is no evident footage of the student going out of the premises, the student could not be found anywhere. CCTV cameras are installed at both gates of the medical college including back and front gate. Walls of the college are also too high for anyone to climb up.
The medico apparently had a practical exam, the day he went missing.
"His practical examination began on 21 December. He did not appear for it and has been missing since then. He last spoke to his senior on the same day around 2 AM. He was nervous about his practicals. His senior guided him and counselled him about this over the phone call. That was the last he spoke to anyone. His cellphone has been out of coverage since then," his sister told TOI.
His father, a surgeon informed the media persons that he had last talked to his son on 20 December around 8 pm. His family are currently appealing at all social media platforms to find him
