Medical entrance Issue: TN officials in New Delhi

New Delhi: The central government moved the Supreme Court, with a bid to make modifications in yesterday's orders to allow state governments to hold seperate Medical entrance examination for MBBS and BDS for the academic year 2016-17.


Officials from the Director of Medical Education from Tamilnadu are in New Delhi to take the next course of action following the order by the Supreme Court.


Tamilnadu had abolished the common entrance test for MBBS and BDS courses from 2007 onwards and admissions are made based on the plus two board exam marks.
