MCC issues notice for Children/ Widows of Army officers category candidates seeking admission under Delhi Quota

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice for verification of Children/ Widows of Army officers category entitlement/ concession certificates for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under 85% Delhi quota for the academic session 2019-20 as received from the Delhi University.


It is notified to the concerned CW category candidates (all categories) that the Competent Authority of the Faculty of Medical Sciences has decided to verify the entitlement/Concession certificates to ascertain the genuineness of the CW category for admission to MBBS/BDS courses — 2019.


The candidates who have registered on Medical Counselling Committee i.e. www.mcc.nic, in for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under CW category for 85% Delhi quota are requested to appear for verification of documents, in person along with all the relevant documents in original and one set of photocopy, in claim of the category/priority.


The verification of documents in respect of following CW categories shall be carried out on 25"'June 2019 (Tuesday) as per the list to be provided by Venue and time for’ verification is as under :-


Date : 25"' June, 2019: Time : 11 :30 A.M.


Place : Seminar Hall, Auditourium, Vallabhbhai patel chest institute gate no 2; University of Delhi— 110007


The Children/widows of officers and men of the armed forces including Para Military personnel* (CW) in the following in the preference:


Priority 1: Widows/wards of defence personnel killed in action.


Priority 2: Wards of defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service with disability attributable to military service.


Priority 3: Widows/wards of defence personnel who died while in peace time with death attributable to military service;


Priority 4: ward of defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out with and disability attributable to the military service.

  • Param Vir Chakra,

  • Ashok Chakra,

  • Matta Vir Chakra,

  • Kirti Chakra,

  • Vir Chakra,

  • Shaurya Chakra,

  • President’s Police Medal for Gallantry

  • Sena Medal (Gallantry), Nau Sena Medal (Gallantary), Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry)

  • Mention-in-Despatches,

  • Police Medal for Gallantry


Priority VI Wards of Ex-Servicemen.


Priority VII Wives of:




  1. Defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service.

  2. Defence personnel disabled in service and boarded out with attributable to military service

  3. Ex-servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.

Priority IX Wives of Serving Personnel


Note:* Benefit under CW category)' may extend to the wards of the Personnel of Paramilitary forces up to prioirity (v) only.
