Shocking: MBBS student arrested for peddling LSD,MDMA, Ganja Drugs
Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking incident an 27-year old MBBS student studying at one of the renowned medical colleges in Kerala has now been put behind bars for storing and selling banned narcotics and other deadly drugs.
The accused has been identified as a final year MBBS student at JJM Medical College. The matter got revealed after a police conducted a raid on the spot where the authorities got their hands laid on deadly banned drugs and narcotics.
The Davangere police registered the case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The police informed that they found ganja leaves, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) tablet shaped drugs, MDMA powder and other equipment used for consuming drugs from the accused's house. He allegedly stored these at the place where he was staying. The medico has allegedly addicted to these drugs and also engaged in peddling and sold these products to young students in the area.

Superintendent of Police R Chetan told Deccan Herald, "The CEN police team, led by Police Inspector T V Devaraj, raided the house of Sajan at Siddaveerappa Layout in the city and recovered ganja and other drugs. During the interrogation, it was found that Sajan, a native of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, is currently doing his housemanship. A drug addict, Sajan used to sell the banned substances to the students."
Medical Dialogues earlier reported that Hyderabad based MBBS doctor was tracked by the police and arrested for running a business of selling marijuana laced chocolates in the city. He used the social media platform for supplying the contraband product all over the country. Around 45 marijuana (ganja) mixed chocolate cups, chocolate Packed Box-1, Silver Foil Roll-1, Sticker Bundles-4, Chocolate Coco box-5, Chocolate packets-2, Empty Cups-50, Ghee Packets-10 were seized in the raid.
