Mangaluru: New MD Homeopathy batch inaugurated at FMHMC

Mangaluru: The inaugural ceremony of the 21st batch for MD (Hom) Course of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College for the academic year 2018-19 was held on October 20 at PG Seminar Hall.


The inaugural programme of the course began with a prayer song.

Dr Shivaprasad K Principal welcomed the gathering. The course was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries along with student’ representatives of the new batch. This was followed by a short self-introduction by new students and welcome by the seniors with a rose.


Fr Vincent Saldanha in his message highlighted the purpose of Post Graduate and research-oriented studies. He also urged the students to be committed towards the profession and to come out as dedicated doctors to serve humanity.


Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the programme. At the outset, he congratulated the students and motivated them to work hard and to sharpen their clinical skills. He mentioned to make use of the facilities and the infrastructure made available in the institution. He also stressed the duties of a physician.


Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, vice principal proposed the vote of thanks.


Fr Sylvester Lobo, assistant administrator, Fr Peter Noronha and the faculty members were present for the programme.


Dr Sowmya A compered the programme.


The programme concluded with the Institution anthem.
