Madhya Pradesh: Parents render apology on issue of bunking to MGM, Dean

Indore: Parents of more than 30 students of first year MBBS, MGM Medical College, met the Dean of the insttution, Dr Sharad Thora, to render an apology for mass bunking indulged in, by their wards. A warning had been issued to the students on an earlier occasion, for the same reason.


An affidavit was also submitted by the parents on behalf of their wards for non repetition of the act.


"Parents of more than 30 students reached college to apologize for the faults of their children. These parents are of local students and those belong to other cities will come in next couple of days," Dr Thora said.


The parents had been telephonically informed by the college regarding the academic loss incurred by their wards due to absence from study .for more than 20 days informed the Dean.


"We had warned the students but they neglected. Now, they will be responsible if debarred from the college," Dr Thora added. "Parents are the best teachers and they will teach their children not to waste precious time," the Dean told the Free Press Journal
