Madhya Pradesh: MGMMC Professor accused of fake certificate submission

Indore: A Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College,(MGMMC) Associate Professor has been accused of submitting a fake certificate to seek admission to the medical college and later also an appointment in it.


The accused in the case is reported to be an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College. The issue surfaced when a complaint regarding her having applied under the ST quota was registered at the Medical College and the Tribal Welfare and development department.


"We received a complaint stating that caste certificate of Dr Paridhi Shivde is fake. She submitted a certificate of being a Gond but she belongs to another caste," Dean, Dr Sharad Thora said.


Dr Thora said they had notified the Tribal Welfare Department, requesting them, to investigate the matter and had received a confirmation on the allegation being true.


" We are now consulting about the action to be taken in the case and will soon take a step against Dr. Shivde," the Dean told the Free Press Journal.
